The JKTG Foundation is investing $1.65 million through 2028 in research aimed at finding better ways to treat triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), an aggressive disease that frequently spreads to the lung and liver.

Metastatic breast cancer remains the greatest challenge for patients. These projects tackle that challenge from two complementary directions—one seeks to better understand the biology that allows cancer to spread, while the other aims to improve our ability to detect and monitor metastatic disease earlier.
