DRIVING RESEARCH TO STOP CANCER

Most people don’t die from breast cancer itself — they die when the cancer spreads. Yet metastasis remains one of the least understood and most difficult aspects of the disease to treat.

At the Jayne Koskinas Ted Giovanis Foundation, we take a different approach to funding research. Inspired by the precision and teamwork of racing, we invest in bold, early-stage ideas that challenge conventional thinking and push the boundaries of discovery.
Our funded projects span leading institutions and disciplines, from building digital “twins” and virtual tumors to simulate cancer behavior, to uncovering the biological mechanisms that enable cancer to spread, to developing nanoparticle technologies for detection and treatment. We also support advances in mathematical modeling and predictive analytics to better forecast disease progression and guide therapy.
Just as important, we bring together researchers across fields — biologists, engineers, clinicians, and data scientists — to collaborate in new ways and accelerate progress.
We fund what others won’t, because that’s where breakthroughs begin and how we are #DrivingResearch.
