On April 30th 2025, Ted Giovanis was invited to speak at Johns Hopkins University as part of the 2025 Leading Change: Perspectives from Outside of Medicine Conversation Series, hosted by Dr. Elliot K. Fishman.

In his talk, titled “Data, Risk, Adaptation, Resilience – What Real Life Experiences Can Tell Us About Health Care Today,”

Giovanis drew from a wide-ranging and deeply personal set of experiences. From his early life and policy work to his landmark legal Appeal, the founding of the Jayne Koskinas Ted Giovanis Foundation for Health and Policy, and his journey as team owner and driver for TGM Racing, Giovanis illustrated how lessons learned outside the traditional boundaries of medicine can offer valuable perspective in addressing today’s health care challenges.
