Registration is now open for the Jayne Koskinas Ted Giovanis Foundation for Health and Policy (JKTG Foundation) Annual Symposium. This year’s event, titled Improving Breast Cancer Outcomes: Revealing and Targeting Tumor-Immune Interactions, will take place October 15, 2025, in Washington, D.C. and bring together leading researchers and clinicians to discuss the latest advances in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Sessions include Immune Detection of Cancer, Regulation of the Immune Response, and Immune Effector Function and Therapies and will feature speakers from Moffitt Cancer Center, Texas A&M, University of Pennsylvania, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Weill Cornell Medicine, University of Southern California and Johns Hopkins University.

This year’s Jayne Koskinas Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Christina Curtis, PhD, MSc, a renowned expert in cancer evolution and precision oncology. Dr. Curtis’s groundbreaking research has helped redefine our understanding of how tumors evolve and respond to treatment.

"This symposium is an essential opportunity to bring together researchers from diverse disciplines—biology, oncology, biomedical engineering, mathematics and beyond—to tackle the complex challenges of cancer,” said Ted Giovanis, founder and president of the JKTG Foundation. “By fostering collaboration across fields, we can accelerate discovery and move closer to more effective treatments for patients.”
