RESEARCH FUNDS AVAILABLE: REQUEST FOR 2015 PROPOSALS BEING ACCEPTED

The Jayne Koskinas Ted Giovanis Foundation for Health and Policy (the Foundation) is accepting proposals for Dissertation Support Grants (DSG) and Post-doctoral Fellowships.  Doctoral and post-doctoral candidates in health policy, health care administration, public health, mathematics, biology or a related field are invited to submit proposals which focus on topics that support the mission of the Foundation.

Interested candidates should submit a letter of intent by April 15, 2015, outlining their project for review.  The Foundation will invite selected applicants to submit a full proposal. Awards will be announced in late August.

Specific areas of interest to the Foundation in 2015 include: research on the provision of care; application of mathematical modeling to health care issues; application of game theory or evolutionary or ecological principles to health care; patient-centered care; the development and diffusion of new technologies; and development, effectiveness and appropriateness of quality measures.
